Meet Dawn - The Heart Behind the Unwind Collection

Hello! I’m Dawn, the proud owner and creator of the Unwind Collection by Creatively Covered Co. Born and raised in Wilmington, NC, I am the eldest of five siblings and a native North Carolinian at heart. My journey into natural skincare began during the pandemic, when making skincare and soaps became my therapy and creative outlet.

I wear many hats: I am a natural skincare maker, a licensed cosmetologist, and a real estate broker. Beyond my professional life, I am passionate about traveling, relaxing on the beach, shopping, enjoying great food, and spending quality time with family and friends. My ambivert nature means I’m outgoing in comfortable settings but can be shy until I get to know you and feel at ease.

I am happily married with three wonderful children and one beloved fur baby. Creating the Unwind Collection has been a deeply personal and fulfilling journey, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share these natural, soothing products with you.
